Frequently asked questions
How do I register?
Follow this link to active.com's easy-to-use registration platform.
Can I bring my dog?
While the course is a lovely place to run or walk with four legged friends, insurance requirements prevent us from allowing them to participate during the race.
Are strollers permitted?
Strollers are permitted for walkers only! Keep in mind that the Columbia Trail is a crushed stone path and may be a bumpy ride.
Why no age group awards?
This race is a fundraiser for the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition and we want to give as much money as we can to them. Therefore, the money we would spend on awards can be donated instead. Participants will receive an event shirt and a finisher's glass.
Is it rain or shine?
Yes! In the event of rain, we hope everyone's smiling faces will brighten the day!
Where can I donate?
Whether you're a runner, walker or spectator, you can set up a fundraising page to raise money for NOCC as an individual or a team. Just want to make a one time donation? That's cool, too!
The event is canceled. Now what?
Because of the reason the race is canceled, you can receive a full refund for the amount of your registration cost (less active.com's registration fee). But would you consider donating your registration to NOCC? As a thank you for your donation, you will receive a 20% off code to apply at next year’s race (we can’t be under lockdown that long, can we???) Please email me directly firstname.lastname@example.org let me know your preference by April 30.
